Welcome to the 7Th Armored Cavalry Regiment
Regiment History: The 7Th Armored Cavalry Regiment has a long and distinguished history. The Regiment was constituted into three companies, 7Th Cavalry on 07 July 1867 and organized at Fort Riley, Kansas. From 1867 to 1897 the units of the 7Th Cav were involved in the Indian Wars and conducted operations during many campaigns. The Regiment also participated in the Mexican Expedition Campaign between 1915 and 1917. On 01 August 1941 the company designations were officially changed to squadrons, 2 new squadrons were added and the 7Th Armored Cavalry Regiment was assigned to Fort Bliss, Texas.

Unit Intro: HeadQuarters Squadron is 7Th Cav's SpecialOps Unit, with its members being comprised of both veterans and rookies. Squadron emphasis is on Training and accomplishing Special Missions undertaken by the Regiment.
